This app does two things really well:

1) LIVESNOW*
- View real-time snow reports by registered users across the U.S.
- See where it’s snowing right now.
- Compare reports by state and location.
- Post your own report & prove it with a photo.

2) SNOW ALERTS*
- Get push alerts when we forecast a powder day (Colorado only, for now).
- No other app has alerts for *upcoming* powder days.
- Receive push alerts when new snow falls at your favorite areas.

* Anyone can view LiveSnow reports, but register first at Opensnow.com to submit LiveSnow reports and receive alerts.

WHY THIS APP ROCKS

We hand-craft Powder Predictions for every area in Colorado. Human-made forecasts are far more accurate than other app’s computer-generated forecasts. Know about powder days in advance so you can call in "sick".

Seeing LiveSnow reports is often the only way to know if it’s snowing at a location. WebCams don’t work well at night, and official weather stations are usually far away from ski areas.

Our LiveSnow is better. Other apps allow user reports, but they can be wordy and of poor quality because anyone can post (not just registered users).

You can customize snow report notifications by ski area. You might want to know if your local hill gets more than 4 inches, but only want to know if a more distant area gets 10 inches or more. We got your back, Jack.

- You must be registered to post snow reports and create snow alerts.
- If you’re not registered, please do so at www.Opensnow.com and then come back to the app.
- We only have U.S. locations.
