The Indian Temples App offers information on some of the most sacred sights of India.
India has rich cultural and historical heritage well preserved in its temple architecture and pilgrim sites. From the majestic Himalayan ranges in the
North, to Kanyakumari in the South, India is arrayed with thousand of shrines, temples and worship places dating back to hundreds of years.
Indian Temples App takes you on a sacred journey through India. We have listed over 100 temples from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and from Gujarat to Assam.
Browse through the famous temples, read the history, legend and view some of the beautiful pictures of temples and idols. Each temple is displayed in Map for you to easily plan your visit. Read the Getting There section for tips on reaching your temple.
In the north, we have the Dilwara Jain Temples, Ranankpur Jain Temples, Vaishno Devi Temple, Amarnath, Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri and Yamunotri, along with the numerous temples in Mathura, Vrindavan and Varanasi. In the south, there is Meenakshi Temple, Rameswaram Temple, Tirupati Temple, etc. The western part of Shirdi Sai Temple, Akshardham Temple, Siddhivinayak Temple, Mahalaxmi Temple, etc, while east India has Jagannath Temple, Konark Sun Temple, Kali Bari Temple, etc. So explore these temples and know about the rich cultural legacy of India.
The application can be viewed in offline mode, no internet or data connection is necessary. Only if you need to browse the location of the temple in the map then you would need a Wifi or Data connection.
