This is the unique application that allows the surgeon the possibility to analyze how the incision will interfere with the surgery. Allows you to rotate the lens, the incision and make calculations in real time.

The TORIC CALCULATOR is an application that assist the surgeon in estimating the amount of postoperative corneal astigmatism to be corrected by selecting the recommended Toric IOL, and determining the optimal axis location of the IOL in the capsular bag.

The TORIC CALCULATOR calculates the crossed corneal astigmatism (regular) with respect induced astigmatism incision during the procedure of cataract lens removal.

Using the TORIC CALCULATOR:

To use it, just provide the requested patient data (some fields are optional) and press the CALCULATE button!

The application will performe the calculations to determinate the crossed result astigmatism and suggest the Toric IOL to minimize the cylinder power without over correct it.

The Toric Calculator has an “Advanced Mode” that can be enabled at bottom of the INFO screen.

This amazing feature allows you to modify the model of the Toric IOL, rotate it and change the location of the incision to get better results with other lenses than suggested by the calculator.

To use it, press the UNLOCK button and slide your finger over the eye’s diagram to try another incision location to minimize the crossed residual astigmatism or to match the Toric IOL cylinder power. Tap the iris to move the incision, tap out the iris to move the lens.

You can also change the lens cylinder power (or use Non-Toric IOL).
