Lean Angle 1.2

Description:

Measure and record the lean angle of your motorbike. Many interesting drive-specific data can be documented on iPhone, from Model 4 onwards.

Using a gyrometer and GPS the maximum lean angle, speed and time is measured when driving into a curve. Additionally, the driver can have the maximum lean angle for the whole trip displayed as a map or a satellite view in which the respective lean angles, speeds and times are marked.

For safety reasons, the App cannot be operated whilst driving and no information is shown in the display.

The iPhone must be positioned as flat as possible on the tank in order to achieve exact measuring, e.g. on the tank rucksack.

An internet connection is required for displaying maps.

The lean angle cannot be measured when the bike is stationary.

Please observe the life span of the rechargeable battery – sensor system requires more power!

The lean angles are determined by means of a gyro-sensor and the speed is determined via GPS.

The following circumstances might lead to inexact measurements:
* no, or weak GPS signal
* iPhone is not fixed securely
* strong fluctuation in speed when leaning into a curve
* driving style in a curve - pressing or hanging-off
* motorbike type does not correspond to the selection of options
* the driver is very small, very large, very light or very heavy
* pillion passenger on board
