The CDA = Call Drop Alert. Itâs as simple as that, and it delivers a very valuable service. Fire up the app when you first start your Nokia smartphone
Then, the next time you make or receive a call, at the end of that call, CDA kicks in to high gear, and lets you know the call has been âdroppedâ. Now, most of the time this might be at your own doing â¦ but how many times have you been on a call, and suddenly realized youâd been disconnected? You know, youâre talking away, thinking there is someone else on the other end of the line listening, but really, youâre just talking to yourself. Oh the shame.

Well, with CDA installed, the embarrassment ends. As soon as a call ends â whether you end the call, or the person at the other end of the line does (or perhaps, the signal just magically cut out, as happens sometimes with certain mobile service providers â¦ you know itâs true!), the CDA app pops up on your Nokia device with a big, red warning screening showing the number you had last dialed or received a call from, as well as a loud, blaring tone, to alert you to the issue.

At this point, with one button press â the nice green button shown in the lower-left portion of the screenshot above â CDA will act as an automatic redial, and call back the last number that had been dialed or received, so you can resume your conversation. +

CDA is truly self-explanatory. The app has a one-screen help page â shown below â that does explain what each button within the app is for, but really, youâll figure this one out on your own.

CDA is there when you need it, and might just save you from an awkward moment of talking to yourself.
