This is a viewer for aeronautical charts that are available from PilotsCharts.com.

The application features a custom high performance display engine that provides very fast scrolling and zooming along with the brightest and sharpest charts that are available.

The viewer is fully self contained and does not require a wireless connection when in flight. Downloaded charts are fully functional in airplane mode. If used with GPS it provides the current speed, heading, location and altitude. The location and heading are also represented as a "flying airplane" icon.

On the iPad version markers can be added by either touching the display or entering their coordinates. Vectors are drawn on the chart indicating flight paths between the active markers. The distance and headings between markers are calculated and can be viewed along with the marker's name and a note field. Markers can be rearranged, enabled and disabled as desired.

The iPhone version does not provide the markers feature at this time.

Waypoints can be recorded and viewed on both the iPhone and iPad versions.

Currently sectional charts are available for the contiguous United States.
